Thank you for speaking with me and scheduling an appointment now that you’re ready to sell your property . While you’re looking forward to seeing the word “SOLD” posted from the curb, you know there’s a lot to consider along the way. One of your first decisions is to select a real estate agent who’ll join you in the process

It’s tough to know what to expect when you are thinking about selling your home.  You made a great first step in contacting me, and I’m very excited to help you through this process.  Now that you’re looking for an agent it’s important to know what to expect.

You deserve much more than a sign in the yard, fliers in a box and an occasional open house. You deserve an agent who will be at your side, from listing to closing, ensuring that your property sells smoothly and you get the most money possible from the sale.

At our meeting we will start by reviewing what I will do for you, including a 12-week marketing plan customized to your home.  We will review the local market with you and we can look over the comparable houses recently sold and currently available in your neighborhood.  At this point we will discuss what your house is worth and at what price you would like to list it at.  If everything is all set we can sign the paperwork and schedule the professional photos.  We will tour your property and review what staging and cleaning needs to be done prior to listing and photos.

In order to make the best decisions, you’ll need the most accurate information available.  Because of this I will need some assistance from you.  Please take some time prior to our appointment to fill out the information below. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Sample 12 Week Marketing Plan

No two houses are the same, so it’s important that we customize each house to an individual marketing plan.  Below is a sample of a 12 week marketing plan for a home in Hawthorn Woods  that sold for $534,500.  It was under contract in only 3 days so the complete plan was never implemented.

Week 1

  • Sign the Listing Agreement
