“In early May, 2017 I contacted Helen to discuss our desire to get our house ready to put on the market in the spring of 2018. Helen made an appointment to come and talk with us. We talked about the fact that we had lived in our house for 30 years and were looking to move out of the area. We had an idea what our house was worth and discussed that with Helen. She then ran some queries to show how many houses were on the market in our area in the same price range as we were discussing. It appeared that we did not have a lot of competition at the moment. We then did a walkthrough of each room of the house with Helen and she gave us advice on what we would have to do to “unclutter” the house. At that point we had a further discussion on how long it would take us to get the house ready to be on the market and the advantages of not waiting until 2018. In that conversation we became convinced that we should go ahead and commit to putting the house on the market as soon as we could be ready. We had some vacation planned and a lot of work to do to get ready. We agreed that we could be ready by July 1st. Helen provided some referrals for things like handymen, carpet cleaning, junk removal, etc. We used a number of these people with very good results. Helen also gave us a person from her staff who we could contact with any questions or help that we needed. We relied heavily on this relationship and came to really appreciate all of the help that this person provided. By the last week in June we were ready to have Helen’s people come in to take pictures and videos of our house. We were amazed at how professional the people were, their skill levels, how good they were at being able to market our house and the overall quality of the work that even included using a drone to capture pictures. Our house went on the market around July 1. There were a couple of showings scheduled immediately. We even received our first offer within two days of it being on the market. We were not able to come to an agreement with that prospective buyer and had 4 more showings over the next 10 days. At that point we received our second offer. Working through Helen we were able to reach a deal with those buyers very quickly. We asked Helen if she had a lawyer who she could recommend. She put us in contact with someone who met us in her office. We were very comfortable with him and agreed to use his services. We were very pleased with that decision. He worked with the buyer’s lawyer to finalize their proposed contract and make some minor changes at closing. Helen’s staff was there to schedule the water and septic tests and walk us through the rest of the process. On August 23rd the movers came to pick up our stuff and start the move process. On August 24th closing was successfully completed. On August 25th we started our drive to our new house in the Las Vegas area. We are very pleased that we decided to use Helen to be our realtor. We had heard good things about her services from some of our neighbors and found everything that we heard to be true. She was a partner who we could count on to represent us very well. She was also always there when we needed her, plus she had an amazing staff! The fact that we met Helen in early May and we were leaving the area with a check in hand by late August was exceptional!”

“Helen – now that the closing of my home is complete, I wanted to write a brief note to express not only my gratitude, but amazement with your process and dedication to my best interests. When I first met you, I previously had 2 different realtors who had extensive and accomplished resumes. I was dissatisfied with how they kept their commitments and with how they seemed to lose interest in marketing my home after they secured the listing. So, when I began looking for a new realtor, I decided to interview 6 new candidates; I wanted each to explain their marketing strategy and how it was different than other realtors.
